On 18 May, we decided to try something new and to organize our annual General Assembly in the premises of MolenGeek.
It was for us a way to draw attention to undoubtedly one of the best Belgian success story that happened over the past years.
MolenGeek, what is that?
Settled in Molenbeek, MolenGeek is a start-up incubator, a co-working space and a coding school created in 2016 by Ibrahim Ouassari et Julie Folon. By training young people to coding techniques and to the use of new technologies, the structure’s aim is to develop a technological ecosystem on a local level. This has clearly become a success as it drew the attention of giants like Google, which increased its support and invested more than 200,000 euros in it.
