YouthStarters: cultivating entrepreneurship among youth!

Friday, 9 February was a day filled with inspiration and growth for a new group of Young Entrepreneurs. It was the much-anticipated moment when they concluded their coaching journey with Youthstart by presenting their business plans to a jury and receiving their certificates. We at Belgian Chambers are particularly proud to have collaborated with YouthStart to organize this certification day. It marked the beginning of an entrepreneurial adventure for these ambitious young individuals.

YouthStart is a program dedicated to young people seeking their path in life. Whether they are considering entering the workforce, continuing their education, starting their own business, or even if they haven’t yet clarified their aspirations, this program guides them to discover themselves, identify their passions and dreams, and prepares them for a successful start in their professional lives.

During the training, the young participants develop a customized fictional business plan based on their interests, dreams, and talents, under the attentive supervision of YouthStart coaches. During the certification day, our team, consisting of René Branders (Chairman), Wouter Van Gulck (CEO), and Brigitte Verkinderen (Manager of Bilateral Chamber Development), had the opportunity to carefully listen to the projects of the young participants and offer them wise advice to help them confidently navigate through.

This certification day represents a significant milestone for the Young Entrepreneurs, as well as for Belgian Chambers. We embrace our societal role by supporting youth entrepreneurship and fostering the development of tomorrow’s talents. Through strong partnerships, such as the one with YouthStart, we positively contribute to the growth and prosperity of our society by nurturing the future generations of entrepreneurs.
