Four new chambers have joined the Federation

During a meeting of the BLCCA Steering Committe on 12 October, the committee members unanimously decided to grant the status of associated bilateral chamber to four Belgian-Luxembourg Chambers of Commerce abroad: the Belgian-Luxembourg American Chamber of Commerce, the Belgian American Chamber of the South, the Chilean-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (BELGOLUX) and the Belgo-Luxembourg-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Belgalux). All four Chambers are located on the American continent.

Who are these new chambers?

BelWest, US West Coast

Belwest is a Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce covering thirteen states in the Western United States. Their doors are open to all businesses, regardless of size, location or nationality. This Chamber helps professionals to create and develop their business by linking two of the world’s greatest innovation hubs: the American West and Europe.

Belgian American Chamber of the South, Southern United States

This Chamber represents the interests of eight southern states: Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Mississippi. They are already actively involved in workshops and webinars in Belgium and will undoubtedly be able to advise you on your prospects across the Atlantic.

Founded in 1981, the main mission of the Cámara Chileno Belgo Luxemburguesa de Comercio is to stimulate commercial, social and cultural links between Belgium, Luxembourg and Chile. The Chamber offers webinars, B2B networking events and assistance to companies wishing to expand their activities in Chile.

Belgalux, Brazil

Active since 1938, Belgalux aims to help Belgian and Luxembourg companies establish themselves in Brazil through its four branches in the country. In addition to providing support to companies, networking opportunities, organising events and many other services, the Chamber also offers to welcome Belgian and Luxembourg visitors during their business trips to Brazil.
