Golden Bridge Trade & Investment Awards 2024

2024 brings the 24th edition of the Golden Bridge Trade & Investment Awards, an annual event initiated by the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (BLCC). This prestigious event recognises and celebrats companies that have demonstrated excellence in trade and investment between Belgium, Luxembourg, and the UK.

This years awards encompass five different categories, in areas such as innovation, sustainability, international expansion, entrepreneurship, and corporate social responsibility. These categories aim to highlight various aspects of business performance and achievement within the context of international trade and investment.

The 2024 Award Categories are:

  • Rising Star – The Rising Star Award celebrates successful Small and Medium-sized Enterprises that have demonstrated exceptional growth and potential.
  • Innovate and Elevate – The Innovate and Elevate Award celebrates companies dedicated to innovation and technological advancement.
  • Social Impact – The Social Impact Award recognises companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to making a positive difference in society through their actions and initiatives.
  • Environmental Excellence – The Environmental Excellence Award celebrates companies that focus on reducing their environmental impact.
  • International Growth and Investment -The International Growth and Investment Awards honor companies that have successfully expanded into new global markets.

The winners of the 24th edition of the Golden Bridge Trade & Investment Awards:

This year’s winners continue the long tradition of showcasing high-quality candidates. Special attention was given to the sustainability of companies in their export or investment efforts and how their products and services contribute to a greener and better world.

  • Pallite Group – Environmental Excellence Award
  • Silverfin – Innovate and Elevate Award

The awards were presented by the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (BLCC) at a ceremony hosted by the Belgian Ambassador to the Court of St. James, His Excellency Mr. Bruno van der Pluijm, at the Belgian Residence in London on 28th November.

The Golden Bridge award created a positive vibe at Bel’Export. It was a recognition for our hard work and overcoming the numerous challenges we face in the UK. Staff are proud to be part of a winning team and our customers are happy to be part of the success story.
For myself it was one big adventure which began with completing a simple application form and resulted in winning the Golden Bridge Award.
My advice to everyone who is exporting to the UK, is to apply for the Golden Bridge Awards. If you believe in your product and your story, you have a good chance of winning. If you do not win however, you will still have a great evening at the Award Ceremony with your customers.

The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain is one of the 39 Belgian-Luxembourg Chambers of Commerce (BLCCA) accredited by the Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce. They help promote bilateral trade between Belgium, Luxembourg and the country in which they are established. The Chambers are made up of entrepreneurs who know what it is like to run a business abroad. They provide a sounding board and support and help entrepreneurs with practical matters to explore new markets abroad.
