Switzerland, Belgium, Senegal, France, Canada, and more: so many remarkable countries that share a significant asset. As you may have guessed, the language of Molière was given pride of place at the first edition of the Rendez-vous d’affaires de la Francophonie in Quebec.
This event brought together dozens of French-speaking economic players from all over the world, including chambers of commerce and their vast networks of businesses. The Walloon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Wallonie) was present, alongside the chambers of commerce of France (CCI France), Geneva (CCIG), Quebec (FCCQ), and French-speaking African countries (CPCCAF).
At the end of the meeting, the various chambers signed a groundbreaking agreement aimed at increasing economic and commercial exchanges between these countries and positioning French as an essential language for global business.
French-speaking countries represent 35% of the Walloon businesses’ economic exchanges. It is up to us to open up new concrete prospects for them through our network of chambers of commerce.
The CCI Wallonie is a network of 6 chambers of commerce and industry in Wallonia, with 6000 member companies. The CCIW supports companies from their creation, their development, to their transmission, and focuses on export and certification in sustainable entrepreneurship.
