BLCCA ACADEMY 2025: learning & growing together

The BLCCA Academy is the annual gathering of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chambers of Commerce Abroad (BLCCA) and their partners. For those who are not yet familiar with it: the Academy is much more than a meeting. It is a platform where knowledge is shared, where challenges and solutions are openly discussed, and where the power of collaboration becomes tangible. The objective is clear: to equip the chambers with the tools and insights they need to better support Belgian and Luxembourg companies abroad.

A record-breaking edition at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges

The 2025 edition of the BLCCA Academy set a new record with the highest number of participants ever. This year’s gathering took place at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, one of Europe’s largest logistical hubs. Day one featured inspiring presentations from port representatives, followed by a boat tour of Europe’s second largest port.

Workshops: becoming stronger together

Day two focused on learning and improving through hands-on workshops. The sessions were designed around the priorities identified by the chambers themselves:

Membership development
Visibility
Financing
Succession and governance

Interactive workshops such as “Chamber Champion” and “Flying Forward with FIT” created space to exchange ideas, experiences, and best practices. The outcome? Every chamber left with fresh insights and practical strategies to strengthen their governance, operations and services.

A true spirit of sharing

From business cards to cookies, from personal experiences to hopes and future plans, everything was shared openly.
